Job Description: As the Divisional Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain for our Orthopedic Business Unit (BU), you will hold a critical leadership role overseeing all operational and procurement/supply chain functions within the Ortho BU on a global scale. You will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, scalability, and growth to support the ambitious targets of the Ortho BU.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for all operational functions, including manufacturing operations, procurement, and supply chain management, across the Ortho BU globally.
Champion the “safety-first” mindset and instill a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Propagate key operational metrics and goals to drive ongoing continuous improvement and problem-solving strength.
Develop and implement strategies to foster the development of future operations leadership within the organization.
Business Partnering:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and own the ongoing business strategy for the Ortho BU.
Develop an Operations process, sourcing, and performance roadmap aligned with the business and commercial strategy.
Manage and perform to an annual Operations budget, including revenue, cost savings, profitability, capital investments, and inventory levels.
Support the development and transfer to manufacturing of new orthopedic products, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
Operational Excellence:
Instill a metric and results-based operational culture at all manufacturing sites, regularly reporting and driving continual improvement of key performance metrics.
Improve manufacturing processes and plant capacity optimization across the enterprise.
Mature strategic sourcing and procurement organizations to secure more robust supply chains and better utilize resources.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience, including 7 to 10+ years of leadership experience in key operations roles, with a focus on manufacturing and supply chain management.
Proven track record of driving operational transformation initiatives, including global footprint optimization and scalability.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management, cost optimization, and financial reporting.
Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry preferred.
